What the browser game is
PokéSurvivor is a free browser survival game by JPTER78. Its official guide lists 966 playable Pokémon across 9 regions, 18 legendary rift arenas and co-op for up to 4 players. You move while your partner attacks automatically with the active move. Build your collection as you play; 966 does not mean every partner is unlocked on a new account.
The official FAQ says it is not a Nintendo, Game Freak, or Pokémon Company product, it has no ads and no in-app purchases, and phone play is landscape with a drag joystick. Cloud saves need an account or Google sign-in. A guest session is not kept.
On PC, move with WASD or the arrow keys and change moves with 1–4 or Q/E. On phones and tablets, turn the device sideways and drag to move. As you collect experience, level-up choices offer new moves, upgrades and boosts. The browser language chooses English or Spanish; the game also has a language setting.
Shiny odds have two distinct rules: 1/4096 for wild encounters and 1/100 per gacha pull. Region gacha uses tickets earned by playing, not real-money purchases. A duplicate shiny gives triple PokéCoins according to the official shiny guide. These rates apply to PokéSurvivor, not Survivor Burst.
The other game: Pokémon Survivor Burst
Pokémon Survivor Burst is ClessioTV's Pokémon Essentials 21.1 project. It launched on 2026-08-23. The itch devlog reached 9.0.3 on 2026-10-12. The Expo post still shows project version 9.0 and a next-version ETA of 2026-10-30. Community numbers on namu.wiki are baselined on 9.0.1.
Published downloads are Windows, macOS and Android; the checked author pages list no browser or iOS build. Current official copy advertises +88 playable Pokémon. The older community research counts 90 for v9.0.1; it is a versioned community figure, not a launch statistic.
Choose the Burst download guide if you want its Rotom Launcher, evolving attacks and unlock challenges. Use the separate mobile page for the Android launcher and the author’s iPhone limitation. The comparison page keeps the two games’ rosters, shiny mechanics and controls separate.
Recent PokéSurvivor changes and account recovery
Official news dated 14 October 2026 adds Gmail linking for account recovery. If you normally use a name and password, link Gmail while you can still access the account. The sign-in screen says Google can recover that linked account; it cannot recover a forgotten password for an account that was never linked.
The 13 October update adds the Judgment of Arceus at minute 30 and resets the all-time leaderboard. Earlier October news adds bonds that combine moves after legendary wins, mobile fixes and more frequent rifts. These are the browser game’s news items, not Survivor Burst patches.
For multiplayer, use an account, add friends by nickname and invite them to a room. The official guide describes shared experience and reviving fallen teammates. The itch page separately describes an offline, solo download that saves in the browser; use the official online site for cloud saves, co-op and leaderboards.

Yes. The official site at pokesurvivor.com/en/ is the game. This page loads that address only after you press Play.
Is Pokémon Survivor Burst the same game?
No. Burst is a download-only project by ClessioTV. Use the download guide for Windows, Mac, and Android links from the official posts.
Is there an official token for PokéSurvivor?
The GitHub README says there is no official token or NFT. Third-party coins are not part of the project.
