What I checked

Reviewed the author’s Eevee Expo updates and itch downloads on 14 October 2026. Latest published patch notes: 9.0.3, dated 12 October. Gameplay numbers from the earlier community research remain labeled v9.0.1; this is a source review, not a completed playthrough.

The run loop

You move one Pokémon and develop its attacks, passives and evolution during a run. Level-up cards shape the build, and Burst attacks are manually activated ultimate attacks. Classic’s scoring window is 15 minutes: the author’s 9.0.2 notes say leaderboard statistics stop there even if the run continues.

  • Passive skills, several attacks, and a Burst attack that spends a gauge.
  • In-run evolution and build synergies.
  • A Kecleon shop for upgrades that persist after the run.
  • Online leaderboards, including an external board at drchips.fr linked by the author.

Modes and how they unlock

The currently edited release post is not an archive of the first build. Dated author updates added Rush in 2.0, Tower in 3.0 and Endless in 4.5. Tower was reduced to 50 floors in 7.1. Breach arrived in 8.0, Titan in 8.5, and Seasonal Challenge in 9.0. The English name in the official notes is Breach, rather than a translated “Breakthrough.”

The author’s 29 August reply says completing Classic unlocks Rush for that Pokémon, then completing Rush unlocks Tower. Breach requires a permanent internet connection. These mode-entry conditions differ from run-speed unlocks: 9.0.2 says one Pokémon’s clear unlocks acceleration for all Pokémon in that mode.

Mode / featureAuthor-documented rule
Classic15-minute leaderboard scoring window; runs may continue
RushUnlock by clearing Classic with that Pokémon
TowerUnlock by clearing Rush with that Pokémon; 50 floors from 7.1
EndlessAdded in 4.5; its own shop and currency
BreachSeasonal rooms, modules and extraction; internet required
TitanBreach’s second part, with seasonal boss and progression
Seasonal ChallengeAdded in 9.0 with rankings and exclusive rewards

Version you should quote

Public build on the itch devlog: 9.0.3 (2026-10-12), described as an Alolan Marowak sprite fix plus RAM and performance work, with no known unresolved bugs listed there. Expo still shows project version 9.0 and next ETA 2026-10-30. Community tables use 9.0.1. Quote all three when a number matters.

The author currently advertises +88 playable Pokémon and nine languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Korean, Japanese and Chinese. The community research counts 90 for v9.0.1. That community total is not an independently verified current official roster count.
