Checked 14 October 2026. The latest published patch notes checked on 14 October 2026 are 9.0.3, dated 12 October. The Android launcher is separately labeled 0.3.16. Eevee Expo’s 30 October next-version date is an ETA.

What I checked

This history uses dated author announcements. The edited release summary still says 9.0; it is less specific than the 9.0.3 changelog. Community tables use v9.0.1 and are not a new release announcement.

What to call the current build

Itch devlog: 9.0.3 on 2026-10-12. Notes: Alolan Marowak sprite, RAM allocation, memory management, performance. Known unresolved bugs on that post: none. Expo project version: 9.0. Next version ETA on that form: 2026-10-30. Community tables: 9.0.1 dated 2026-10-10.

Updating without confusing launcher and game versions

Use Rotom Launcher to update the game. Android launcher 0.3.16 is a launcher release, not a replacement name for game patch 9.0.3. For the Android “update channel unavailable” error, the author’s 12 October reply #57 says to redownload the APK and says existing save data will be preserved.

The 9.0.3 note reports no known unresolved bugs. That is the author’s release-note status, not a guarantee that every device or older community-reported problem has been tested. No date for a Linux or iOS release is published in the checked announcements.
